NC Coast Wild Horse Event Series Coming to Holden Beach This Summer

Weekly “Pony Tales” program offers free educational sessions and children’s activities from June through August.

HOLDEN BEACH, NC — A free, family-friendly event series focused on the wild horses of the North Carolina coast is heading to Holden Beach this summer.

​The “Pony Tales” program, presented by the Grayce Wynds Wild Horse Preserve, will take place every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. from June through August. Hosted at the Holden Beach Chapel, located at 107 Rothschild Street, the weekly event is free and open to the public.

​Facilitated by Sue Immen, the educational sessions will feature a slideshow presentation accompanied by video, alongside dedicated activities designed for children. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the history and preservation of the region’s famous coastal wild horses.
