Want to help pets in the community, but cannot adopt? Got some free time? volunteer! Volunteer groups and individuals can help shelter staff with cleaning, pet enrichment, photos and more. Many shelters welcome cleaning supplies, pet food, treats, toys and flat sheets etc. Ask them about their wish list. Contact a shelter near you to inquire.

MEET SEVERUS!
SEV – 2 Year Old Male
This here is one good ol’ boi! Severus is a Retriever mix. He made his way to the shelter because he couldn’t move with his family, he is a GREAT find…. happy, social, smart (knows some commands and is happy to learn more). SEV is only about 45 pounds, walks nice on a leash, and loves to play Fetch….a lot!
He dutifully brings the ball back, gives it up to you, only to run and fetch it again. He also knows how to turn his energy off and will lie down to wait for the game to start again if you take a break.
There is everything to love about SEVERUS….we envy the lucky family who gets chosen by him!

The aptly named Miss CATNISS took business into her own paws when she found herself homeless out in the big wide world.

She planted herself on the porch of a loving human, who called for her rescue and got her safely to our cozy kitcat room.
