Mr. Raphael Antonio Gowans, 27, of Whiteville, NC gave the Lord his hand on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and entered eternity. He was the son of Ms. Mary Elizabeth Gowans and Mr. Stephen Ingraham.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Gowans will be conducted on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 1:00 pm from Brunswick Waccamaw Headquarters, Whiteville, NC with Pastor Dr. David Flowers eulogizing. Burial will follow in the Todd Cemetery II, Clarendon, NC.
Mr. Gowans is survived by his mother: Mary Elizabeth Gowans, of Whiteville, NC, father: Stephen Ingraham (Jackie) of Lumberton, NC, one son: Marcus Gowans, his siblings: Lashanda Gowans, Dan Gowans, Leann Gowans, Marvin Gowans and Curtis Gowans all of Whiteville, NC, Danquel Gowans of Fayetteville, NC, Tyranda Barden of Raleigh, NC, Tyshon Clifton of Flagpatch, SC, Jerry Gillespie, II of Lumberton, NC, and Javion Ingraham of Florence, SC, God-father: Marvin Faison, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
A viewing for Mr. Gowans will be one hour prior to and following services at the Brunswick Waccamaw Headquarters on Tuesday.
