Today’s report is going to be short and tidy. We’re going to have dry weather today through Friday as high pressure hangs on. This will give way to an area of low pressure scooting along the southern jet stream, which will bring widespread rain to the area late (really late) Friday night and through the day Saturday. This will be a good soaking rain, with as much as an inch of rain possible for the event. This pushes away Saturday night and high pressure builds back into the region going into next week.
