Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Invites Community to Annual Peace Officers Memorial Service

Whiteville, NC — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office invites the families of fallen officers, members of the law enforcement community, and all residents to attend the annual Peace Officers Memorial Service.

Held each year in May, the observance provides a moment for the community to gather in remembrance of the deputies and officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. The service honors their sacrifice, recognizes their commitment to public safety, and reaffirms that their contributions will not be forgotten.

The Sheriff’s Office offers a special welcome to the families of the fallen, noting that the courage and legacy of their loved ones continue to hold a lasting place in the county’s history.
