Charles Langley pleaded guilty ahead of trial; search warrant led to discovery of drugs in 2025
CONWAY, SC — A Loris man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to a fentanyl trafficking charge, according to Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson.
Charles Langley, 37, pleaded guilty to first‑offense trafficking fentanyl in the four‑to‑14‑gram range as part of a negotiated plea agreement, said Assistant Solicitor Blaine Massey, who prosecuted the case. The agreement included a sentencing range of 10 to 15 years.
Circuit Court Judge Michael Nettles accepted the plea and imposed a 10‑year sentence.
The charge stems from a November 2025 search warrant executed by Horry County Police at Langley’s home in the Loris area, where officers found the drugs.
“Many thanks to the officers with the narcotics and street crimes teams at Horry County Police Department for their great police work on this case,” Massey said.
