Boiling Spring Lakes, NC — The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department, along with several assisting agencies, responded to reports of a young male discharging a firearm near the Alton Lennon Dam Site at 5:00 p.m. this evening.
Officers arrived at the area and began an investigation. As of Sunday night, no injuries have been reported.
Under Boiling Spring Lakes’ municipal ordinance, discharging a firearm within city limits is illegal, except in cases of lawful self‑defense or law‑enforcement direction.
