Courtney Marie Frenkel, 31, passed away unexpectedly on July 14th, 2026, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Courtney was born on July 5th, 1995, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to her parents, Mark Russell and Sharon Carter.
Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend has been taken from us way too soon. Our Courtney was known for her love of life and adventure. Courtney would be able to light up any room she entered. Her beauty and class were second to none.
Courtney loved the mountains and the ocean; she loved anything and everything outside. She will be forever missed in all our hearts.
She leaves behind her two beautiful and amazing sons; her beautiful sister: Megan Fields; her brother: Dakota Carter; and her stepfather: Jude Carter. As well as the two people who created this beautiful, strong woman: her father: Mark Russell; and her mother: Sharon Carter.
She also leaves behind so many friends and family members who loved her dearly. She will be forever missed in all our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations for Atlas and Ari, her beloved sons. This will ensure their success as they grow up without their mother.
