Local stations in Columbus and Brunswick counties reflect the statewide rise

Gas prices continue to rise across North Carolina as global supply pressures tied to the ongoing conflict overseas push crude oil markets higher. The instability has led to daily fluctuations in wholesale fuel costs, which are now showing up at local pumps.

In Columbus County, Murphy USA in Whiteville was listed at $3.899 per gallon for regular unleaded. Prices were higher across Brunswick County, where Doodles on Oak Island reported $4.13 and ExxonMobil on Ploof Road in Leland reached $4.19. These increases mirror the broader statewide trend as North Carolina’s average continues to climb.
