WHITEVILLE, NC — A Whiteville man faces high-bond felony and misdemeanor charges following an arrest by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office on August 4.
Rominique Alex Drayton, 27, was taken into custody around 12:06 p.m. Sheriff’s records indicate Drayton has been charged with a felony probation violation out of Columbus County, as well as violating a domestic violence protection order originating from Bladen County.
Drayton remains held in the Columbus County Detention Center under a combined $75,000 secured bond ($50,000 for the probation violation and $25,000 for the protective order violation) as he awaits trial.
Any individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
