Ocean Isle Beach Summer Concert Series Lineup

The Town of Ocean Isle Beach has released the full schedule for its 2026 Peggy Hughes Summer Concert Series.

A full season of free, family‑friendly performances to Town Center Park. Concerts are from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with chair setup typically allowed beginning at 4:00 p.m.

The series opens May 24 with The Entertainers, a long‑running Carolina beach‑music group known for horn‑driven classics and upbeat dance sets. Shine follows on June 5, offering a mix of modern country, pop, and rock covers delivered with a high‑energy stage style.

Continental Divide performs June 12, bringing decades of experience in soul, R&B, and beach‑music standards. North Tower takes the stage June 19 with a Raleigh‑based horn sound rooted in beach, funk, and classic R&B. Gary Lowder & Smokin Hot closes out June on the 26, known for soulful vocals, brass arrangements, and Carolina‑coast dance favorites.

July begins with Chocolate Chip & Company on the first, a Myrtle Beach party band recognized for choreography, big vocals, and funk‑leaning crowd‑pleasers. Rivermist performs July 10 with a blend of classic rock, pop, and beach‑music covers shaped by smooth harmonies. Blackwater Band appears July 17, bringing a mix of beach, soul, and light‑rock standards with strong vocal arrangements.

The Main Event returns July 24 with a variety‑band style that spans dance, pop, and festival‑friendly hits. Jam Biscuit rounds out the month on July 31, offering a groove‑oriented mix of jam‑rock, funk, and improvisational sets.

The August schedule begins August 7 with Special Occasion Band, a long‑established beach‑music group performing R&B, Motown, and Carolina dance favorites. The Embers featuring Craig Woolard take the stage August 14, widely recognized as one of the most iconic names in Carolina beach music with smooth vocals and signature shag standards. Uptown Easy performs August 21, bringing a Wilmington‑area blend of pop, rock, and R&B with a relaxed coastal sound.

Julio & the Saltines close out the month on August 28, known for high‑energy covers spanning multiple decades and genres.

The series concludes September 6 with The Extraordinaires, a show band featuring brass‑heavy arrangements and a mix of beach, soul, and dance‑floor classics.

Free concert day parking — Available at Town Center Park, 11 E. Second Street and at 5 W. Third Street after 5:00 p.m. Additional parking is available at the Museum of Coastal Carolina for a $5.00 fee.
