Brunswick County Schools student enjoys a special ride‑to‑school experience through the Sheriff’s Office community partnership program.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office continued its ongoing “Cruisin’ with Sheriff Chism” initiative this week, highlighting another young student who has demonstrated strong character and positive behavior in the classroom.
Logan, a first grader selected through the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program, received a morning patrol‑car ride to school with Sheriff Brian Chism.
The PBIS program recognizes students who consistently show respect, responsibility, and positive decision‑making.
Logan’s mother and his older sister, Emma, joined the ride, making the experience a memorable start to the school day. After arriving on campus, Sheriff Chism escorted Logan to his classroom and congratulated him for setting a positive example among his peers.
The Sheriff’s Office said the program is designed to celebrate students who model good behavior and to strengthen connections between law enforcement and local schools.
Logan’s recognition marks another step in the ongoing partnership between the Sheriff’s Office and Brunswick County Schools to support student success and community engagement.
