For the first time in 30 years, the NC 4th of July Festival will once again feature a queen and full court. The Miss NC 4th of July Festival Scholarship Pageant was held Saturday, June 6, drawing an estimated 200 attendees and showcasing 40 contestants across multiple age divisions.
2026 Queens and Court
- Miss Division – Trinity Simms, age 21
- Teen Miss Division – Allura Cummings, age 18
- Junior Miss Division – Aubree Raelyn Cook, age 10
- Young Miss Division – Kathryn Ruth Strickland, age 14
- Little Miss Division – Georgia Gumerson, age 8
- Tiny Miss Division – Bryar Rose Miranda, age 6
- Baby Miss Division – Shelbie Leighanne Marshburn, age 2
- Ambassador – Avery Morgan Lumsden, age 2
The newly crowned queen and her court will appear during the festival’s Independence Day programming, presenting a public talent showcase from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4 at the Southport Festival.
