In order to make this recipe you will need to make my homemade Pasta Sauce and my homemade Meatballs. Please make sure the Meatballs and Sauce have cooled off before you use them for the Stromboli.
Ingredients
8 Meatballs
2 Ladles Pasta Sauce
1 Pizza Dough
8 Slices Provolone
2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella
Grated Pecorino Romano
Olive Oil
¾ Stick Butter
1 TBSP Minced Garlic
1 TBSP Parsley
Preparations
Prep 1: Melt butter with garlic and parsley and put aside.

Prep 2: Lightly grease a sheet pan with olive oil and put aside.

Prep 3: Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Directions
(Refer to photos for help)
Step 1: Stretch dough into a rectangle. (size will vary)

Step 2: Spread a couple of ladles worth of sauce onto dough.


Step 3: Sprinkle some pecorino romano cheese onto sauce.

Step 4: Place 8 Slices of provolone cheese.

Step 5: Crumble 8 meatballs and spread over your provolone cheese.

Step 6: Spread 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over meatballs.

Step 7: Slowly roll the dough over pinching the ends in on the first roll over.

Step 8: Continue to roll the dough until you get to almost the end. The last part you will want to pull over.

Step 9: Seal the ends of the dough and spread out onto your sheet pan.

Step 10: Let sit for 30 mins.
Step 11: Cut 3 small slices into the top of the dough and spread your butter mixture onto the dough.

Step 12: Place in the oven and cook for 30 to 40 mins until golden brown.
Step 13: Let cool for 15 mins then cut into pieces and serve.
