Partnership with The Jackson Companies marks a major milestone in Vision 2030 expansion
MYRTLE BEACH, SC — The YMCA of Coastal Carolina and The Jackson Companies have announced a partnership to bring a new YMCA facility to the SayeBrook community in Myrtle Beach, situated at the intersection of Sheffield Parkway and Highway 544.
Serving the Highway 544 corridor, Socastee, and The Market Common, this facility is a key component of the organization’s Vision 2030 plan to improve regional health and wellness. While in the early planning stages, the center is slated to feature a pool, workout space, childcare programs, wellness classes, and specialized services for those with specific health needs.
The YMCA will soon conduct community research to tailor the facility’s final design and programming to local needs. As one of five new facilities planned under the Vision 2030 initiative, this project aims to significantly expand wellness access across Horry County.
