Engine 675 responds for mutual aid; additional crew remains on standby
On Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Winnabow Engine 675 staffed by Captain Albosta and Firefighters O’Connor, Norton, and Roberts responded mutual aid to assist Boiling Spring Lakes with a structure fire. The Winnabow crew was assigned to overhaul operations.
Firefighters Woodring and B. Jones remained staffed and on standby in Winnabow should additional assistance be needed or if other calls were dispatched.
Winnabow Fire & Rescue is a volunteer department serving the Winnabow area and surrounding communities through mutual‑aid partnerships.
