Navitas Organics is recalling select lots of its 8 oz. Organic Chia Seeds after its supplier reported possible Salmonella contamination.

The product was sold nationwide, including at Whole Foods Market and online retailers such as Amazon.

The recall covers 8 oz. Organic Chia Seeds (UPC 85884700028) with nine‑digit lot codes beginning with “W”, printed above the nutrition panel. Affected lots include:

W31025283, W31025286, W31025287 (Best by APR 2027)
W31025311, W31025314, W31025315, W31025316, W31025317 (Best by MAY 2027)

Consumers may return the product for a refund.

Questions or replacement requests can be directed to 855.215.5702, available 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.

The company is working with the FDA as the recall continues.
