Lisa Annette Leonard, 63, of Myrtle Beach passed away on August 9, 2026 under the care of Grand Strand Medical Center. Born in Denton, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jessie Trotter and wife to Luther “Buddy” Leonard.
Lisa was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she cherished each of these roles. She loved her family with the fiercest love you’ve ever seen and felt. She was a mimi to anyone that visited the Apache pier and welcomed everyone with open arms. She went above and beyond to make those She loved smile. She will be missed tremendously by her family, friends, and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Buddy Leonard; her son, Jeffery Leonard; and her granddaughter, Samantha Leonard.
The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel, 300 W. Wendover Ave, Greensboro NC 27401 on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM. A graveside funeral service will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N O.Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405 at 2:45PM.
