Revival Animal Health has issued a nationwide recall of several canine and goat‑milk replacer products after testing found variable Vitamin D levels that could harm puppies.
FDA RECALL: The recall includes Breeder’s Edge® Foster Care® Canine, Breeder’s Edge® Foster Care® GM (goat milk), and Shelter’s Choice® Canine Milk Replacers.

The FDA says the products were sold online and in retail stores across the U.S., meaning customers in North Carolina and South Carolina may have purchased them.
Dogs exposed to elevated Vitamin D may develop vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, weight loss, or soft‑tissue calcification. Low Vitamin D over time can cause rickets, bone deformities, swollen joints, and lameness. Two cases of rickets have been reported.
Consumers should stop using the products immediately and contact Revival Animal Health for a refund. Questions may be directed to 877.870.4059 M–F, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
