Local vendors and live music by Rhett Drew highlight a full evening of community fun June 18.
WHITEVILLE, NC — Downtown Whiteville will come alive Thursday, June 18, with two back‑to‑back community events designed to celebrate local business, fresh produce, and live music.
The evening begins with the Open-Air Market on the front lawn of Vineland Station Depot, located at 701 S. Madison Street from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., visitors can browse local vendors offering fresh produce, handmade goods, and a variety of items described as “something for everyone.” The market encourages residents to shop local and support local, reinforcing Whiteville’s ongoing downtown revitalization efforts.
Immediately following, the Downtown Development Commission will host Music in the Alley at 719 S. Madison Street from 7:00 p.m. until nine p.m., featuring local musician Rhett Drew. Attendees are invited to dine downtown and enjoy live entertainment as part of a full evening of community engagement.
