Ira Dale Strickland, 68, of Hiram, GA and formerly of Whiteville, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Cobb Hospice House in Georgia.
Ira was born on January 23, 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.B. Miller, Jr. and Frances Geneva Lee Miller; biological father, Ira Labon Strickland, Jr.; son, Travis Scott Strickland.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols, SC.
The surviving family includes his children, Robin Lynn Strickland of Atlanta, GA, Ira Dale Strickland, Jr. of Bolivia, NC, Cody Bone of Dayton, OH; four grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Collier (C.E.) of Whiteville, Sharon Powell of Wilmington, Robin Miller of Hiram, GA, Nathan Miller (Dianna) of Hiram, GA.
