Horry County, SC — The Conway Dog Park is now an even better gathering place for residents and their four‑legged companions following a series of recent upgrades. The park features separate entrances for small and large dogs, newly planted shade trees, expanded shaded areas, and additional improvements designed to make the space more comfortable for both human and canine visitors. Amenities on site include public restrooms, picnic tables, water stations for both people and pets, and provided poop bags with designated waste containers.

These enhancements were made possible in part through a contribution from the Hoyt family, whose support will help ensure the park remains a welcoming place for pets and people for years to come.

City leaders note that community‑driven projects like this strengthen Conway’s civic foundation by encouraging neighbors to invest in shared spaces and in one another. The upgraded dog park reflects the city’s ongoing commitment to creating inclusive, family‑friendly amenities including those for furry family members.

The Conway Dog Park is located at 1806 New Rd. and is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
