Life‑size replicas of America’s founding documents now open for public viewing in downtown Whiteville.

Whiteville, NC — Columbus County Government dedicated the new Charters of Freedom and Memorial Park at the historic Columbus County Courthouse, unveiling a permanent display that brings America’s founding documents directly to the community.

Provided by Foundation Forward, Inc., the installation features life‑size replicas of the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. The exhibit is designed to offer residents and visitors a place for education, reflection, and inspiration, making these historic texts accessible in a way that encourages civic understanding and engagement.

The public is invited to stop by and experience this meaningful addition to the courthouse grounds. The park is open daily and located at the historic courthouse in downtown Whiteville.
