CONWAY, SC –The Horry County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has arrested Anthony Wayne Bowman, 29, on multiple charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Investigators say they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding alleged criminal activity occurring on the messaging app Kik. Deputies identified Bowman as the owner of the account referenced in the report.
Bowman is charged with four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
