Adult and children’s meals, a blessing table, and free laundry services available May 8
SHALLOTTE, NC — Camp United Methodist Church will continue its weekly outreach this Friday, offering free meals and community support services at its Main Street campus.
The church, located at 4807 Main Street in Shallotte, will serve meals from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. this Friday, May 8.
This week’s adult meal includes chicken pot pie, cucumber salad, and dessert, while children will receive a chicken nugget bag.
In addition to the meals, the church will host its weekly Blessing Table, where families can pick up canned goods, extra meals, clothing, and eggs while supplies last. Organizers say the table is restocked each week to help meet local needs.
Earlier in the day, the church will operate its Suds of Love Laundry Ministry from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the last load accepted at 1:30 p.m. The service provides free laundry assistance for individuals and families who need it.
Church leaders say the Friday outreach is designed to Share the Love of God by offering practical help to anyone in the community, no questions asked.
