Public Hearings on Zoning and Ordinance Changes
Bolivia, NC –The Town of Bolivia Board of Aldermen will convene a series of public hearings on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Bolivia Fire Department, located at 3848 Business 17 E.
Town leaders will review three separate proposals:
- Special Use Permit Request: Officials will consider allowing a dual‑purpose veterinary clinic and kennel within the C‑3 (Commercial 3) zoning district on Parcel #1400004004.
- Zoning Map Amendment: A request has been submitted to rezone Parcel #1390005501 from Planned Unit Development (PUD) to C‑3 (Commercial 3).
- Subdivision Ordinance Update: The Board will also review proposed revisions to the Town’s Subdivision Ordinance to ensure alignment with North Carolina state law and the Town of Bolivia Land Use Plan.
