BCSO Seeks Public Assistance in Leland Larceny Investigation

Investigators release surveillance images of suspects and vehicles linked to the theft of a newly delivered engine on Black Chestnut Road.

LELAND, NC — Investigators with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are requesting help from the community to identify suspects in a recent larceny.

On the afternoon of April 23, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a newly delivered engine was stolen from a residence on Black Chestnut Road. Investigators are working to identify the individuals captured on surveillance footage, as well as two specific vehicles:

  • A truck directly involved in the theft.

  • A silver passenger car seen pulling up near the engine around the time of the incident.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of these individuals or the location of the vehicles is encouraged to contact Detective Harris at 910.269.7073. Your assistance is vital to moving this investigation forward.
