A Launchpad for New Brunswick County Businesses

Pitch It! Brunswick seeks first‑time founders and fresh business concepts ready to grow through coaching, coursework, and competitive pitching

Brunswick County is full of people with big ideas and this spring, one of those ideas could become the area’s next new business.
Marine Federal Credit Union and Brunswick Community College’s Small Business Center have teamed up to host “Pitch It! Brunswick.”

A fast‑paced competition designed to help local entrepreneurs move from concept to launch.

Participants will present their Brunswick County business idea to a panel of three Business Bulldogs for a chance at start‑up funding and prizes. The program is built for individuals who have not yet started a business but have a clear vision for the type of venture they want to create. Prior business owners may also participate, provided they apply with a new concept for a Brunswick County based business they hope to establish.

Organizers say the strongest applicants will bring genuine passion for their idea, some familiarity with the industry they want to enter, and a willingness to commit to the coursework and training required to build a business on solid footing.

Whether your idea lives in a notebook, a phone note, or has simply been waiting for the right moment, Pitch It! Brunswick offers a structured path to move it forward. Applications close April 13 at 5:00 p.m.
