Two crews remained staffed at Green Hill Station during the call
On Monday, February 23, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Winnabow Engine 675, staffed by Firefighters Vernon, Hamilton, and Roberts and Rescue Engine 671 staffed by Firefighters Reshetar and Corbett were dispatched to a vehicle crash notification off Cherrytree Road in Winnabow.
Two additional crews remained staffed at the Green Hill Station in case further assistance was needed or if additional calls were dispatched.
Winnabow Fire Department has served the community for decades, growing from a small volunteer operation into a multi‑unit department that now responds to fire, medical, and rescue calls across a rapidly developing area of Brunswick County.
