WHITEVILLE, NC — Local residents are invited to a night of worship and community intercession as organizers begin the formal countdown to a major regional event scheduled for this fall.
The Encounter Prayer Gathering will take place on Thursday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m. at Crossroads Church, located at 87 Southwood Road in Whiteville. The evening serves as the official spiritual kickoff and preparation phase for the life-changing Encounter Crusade, which is set to arrive in the area this coming October.
The event program is designed to foster a focused environment for reflection and community unity. The evening begins at 7:00 PM with a segment of praise and worship music, followed by a central message titled “Praying for Your One.” The gathering will culminate in a dedicated session of spirit-led prayer, where attendees will come together to lift up the unchurched and seek guidance for the upcoming October outreach efforts.
