MALIK WATSON, 29, of Whiteville, was arrested June 8 on:
- Failure to appear on misdemeanor
- Misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
- Assault on a female
- Injury to personal property
Watson was held on $10,000 secured bond for the FTA and $1,500 secured for the domestic‑violence count.
The charges correspond with a domestic‑violence warrant service at 803 Washington Street earlier that morning, where the victim was identified as Quiaja George, 33.
Watson was released June 10 and is awaiting trial.
