WHITEVILLE, NC — A Whiteville man is facing a series of felony charges after being taken into custody on May 30, according to information provided by local authorities.
Leland Police arrested Javion Evans, 22, in connection with a Whiteville incident that resulted in multiple property damage reports and alleged assaults involving a deadly weapon.
Evans has been charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and 5 counts of injury to personal property.
This arrest follows an earlier incident previously reported by BC News.
Evans was transported to the Brunswick County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond. He is scheduled to appear in Columbus County court on June 4, 2026.
