WHITEVILLE — A 15‑year‑old student is accused of assaulting another student during a Tuesday afternoon incident at Whiteville High School, according to a sheriff’s office report.
The assault occurred around 1:40 p.m. and involved “personal weapons,” meaning hands or feet. The victim, also 15, reported minor injuries.
School administrators and Deputy Richard Fowler handled the incident. Juvenile petitions are expected, and the case has been forwarded to juvenile court services.
