TABOR CITY — Deputies are investigating the unauthorized use of a Mercury Sable taken late Thursday night from a residence on Mill Branch Church Road, according to an incident report filed by Sgt. Drew Zehnder.

The victim, Dawn Elizabeth Spivey, 52, told deputies the vehicle was taken without her permission. The suspect is described as a 33‑year‑old white male, standing 6 feet tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

No arrest for this incident appears in the May 7–8 detention center booking report, indicating the suspect had not been taken into custody as of Friday morning.
