N. Whiteville, NC — In the early morning hours of Monday, April 6, 2026, roughly 20 mailboxes were intentionally damaged in the North Whiteville community. Investigators believe the vehicle pictured was involved.
The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is actively investigating and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for operating this vehicle.
