Timothy Case Bartles, II, also know as Dr. Frankenstein, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10th, 2026 at Grand Strand Medical Center.
Tim was born in Hickory, NC to Timothy Case Bartles and the late Patricia Poole Bartles on October 13th, 1979. He is survived by his father, his daughter Kaylynne Sue Cleveland of New York, and his beloved fiance’ Jackie Lemke.
So detailed Dr. Frankenstein, as he was known for, had a love for all art especially his perfect tattooing career for 26 years. He had a special angelic way to make people feel special, to the homeless, to his friends, and his customers, and honestly everyone he met. One thing he is remembered for, is while tattooing he would listen to music and sing every song word for word, and always had a funny saying for everything. He touched many hearts and will be deeply missed. His spirit will forever inspire those who knew him.
There are no services planned for Tim at this time.
