Tar Heel Teenager Facing $500,000 Bond on Armed Robbery, Burglary, and Firearm Charges

BLADEN / COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC — An 18-year-old Tar Heel resident faces a lengthy list of violent felony charges following an arrest coordinated with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office.

Dan Juniot English III was taken into custody at 7:58 p.m. on August 5 and booked into the Columbus County Detention Center. English faces heavy felony charges originating out of Bladen County, including first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill (AWDW INTENT TO KILL), robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a firearm, and two counts of possessing a weapon as a prisoner.

English’s total bond has been set at $500,000 secured ($250,000 for first-degree burglary and $250,000 for possession of a weapon by a prisoner). He remains in custody awaiting trial.
