TABOR CITY — The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction will hold a hiring event for Correctional Officers at Tabor Correctional Institution on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 4600 Swamp Fox Hwy W, Tabor City.
The event is part of a statewide recruitment effort to fill positions at correctional facilities across North Carolina. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet recruiters, learn about job benefits, and begin the application process on site.

Job Requirements and Benefits
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess a valid driver’s license. Lawful permanent residents are eligible with three years of U.S. residency.
