Tabor City Man Charged With Multi‑Count Drug Trafficking Operation

TABOR CITY — A Tabor City man is facing a long list of felony drug charges after deputies arrested him Monday night in what investigators described as a significant trafficking case.

Donald Lee Vereen, 60, was booked on multiple counts of trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in opium/heroin, manufacturing cocaine, possession with intent to sell/deliver Schedule II, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, and maintaining a place for controlled substances, according to detention center records. His bond totals include $75,000 secured and $25,000 secured, with additional charges listed as “included in other.”

Vereen remains in custody awaiting trial.

All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
