TABOR CITY MAN CHARGED IN MULTI‑COUNT DRUG AND FIREARM CASE

TABOR CITY — A Tabor City man is facing a long list of felony charges after officers say he was found with drugs, a firearm, and stolen property during a weekend arrest.

Cheron Dewayne White Jr., 32, was booked Sunday on charges including:

  • PWISD marijuana
  • Possession of firearm by felon
  • Carrying concealed gun
  • Felony larceny
  • Breaking and/or entering
  • Damage to property
  • Breaking a coin/currency machine

The arrest appears to align with a series of property‑crime investigations in the Tabor City area, though deputies have not publicly linked the cases.

White remained in custody Monday.
