Shallotte, NC — STREET REACH – Homeless Outreach, a 100% faith‑based outreach ministry, has long served as a lifeline for hungry and homeless neighbors across Brunswick County. Operating without state or federal grants, the organization relies entirely on the compassion of donors, the dedication of volunteers, and the steady, transformative love of God.
As the number of individuals seeking help continues to rise, expanding the STREET REACH Outreach Building has become a necessary step to meet the growing demand.
The Outreach Building functions as a haven of hope, storing and organizing essential items such as tents, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, and emergency supplies used both for unsheltered outreach and disaster response. These resources are often the first line of support for individuals living outdoors or facing sudden crisis.
For many, the building is also a sanctuary for renewal. Unsheltered individuals can refresh with a hot shower, receive clean clothing, and experience a moment of peace and dignity – simple acts that restore strength and self‑worth.
