Sherrill Brent Gause, 55, of Whiteville, died suddenly on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at his residence.
Brent was born on February 5, 1971, son of the late Sherrill Gause and Alma Irene Williamson Gause.
Brent worked in the mental health field for over 26 years.
The surviving family includes his wife, Margaret “Mardi” Crawford Bowers Gause; aunts, Althea Nelson, Marguerite Williamson, Myrna Gause; host of loving cousins, and a loving and supportive church family, Crossroads Church of Whiteville.
