According to a statement from Chief Paul D. Rockenbach, the warrant was carried out by the department’s Criminal/Narcotics Investigation Division with assistance from county narcotics officers. The operation resulted in the arrest of Derrick Oneil Spaulding, Shyreak Belton, and Shawn Murchison.

“This operation highlights the importance of collaboration between agencies and our continued commitment to keeping Whiteville safe,” Rockenbach said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
