Bob built a long and steady career, working for Exxon and its subsidiaries for 34 years. His life reflected the quiet strength of commitment and the kind of reliability that earns lasting respect.
Bob was married to the love of his life, Johanna (nee Pavlick), for almost 62 years—a devotion that stood at the center of a home where he was deeply beloved and truly cherished. He was the father of Robert, John (Adele), Adrienne Senatore, and Suzanne (Jamie) Deegan. He was the grandfather of Alessandro (Kellie) Senatore, Julia Nowicki, Isabella (Jacob) Daniels, Christian Nowicki, Antonella Senatore, Timothy Deegan, Jack Nowicki, Mackenzie Deegan, and Cara Nowicki. He was the great-grandfather of Emilia Senatore.
He found his greatest enjoyment in time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. Beyond that, he was happiest out on the ocean on the April’s Fool, reeling in fish, or at home tending to his vegetable garden—moments that suited his steady spirit and left room for the gentle humor that those closest to him came to know and love.
Bob was a member of St Brendan’s Parish in Shallotte, NC. Above all, he will be remembered with gratitude and affection as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and fisherman.
The family held a private ceremony near his home in North Carolina.
