Walmart has removed several Marketside bagged iceberg lettuce products from stores in Brunswick, Columbus, and Horry counties after its supplier, Taylor Farms, was linked to a Cyclospora investigation involving shredded iceberg sourced from central Mexico.

The recall covers Marketside Iceberg Salad in 12‑ounce and 24‑ounce packages and Marketside Shredded Iceberg in 8‑ounce and 16‑ounce packages.

Walmart says the items were pulled as a precaution after receiving notice from Taylor Farms.

Consumers should discard the recalled lettuce or return it to Walmart. Cyclospora infection can cause prolonged diarrhea, fatigue, cramping, bloating, and nausea.
