Frozen bulk dough flagged for possible glass contamination; NC not affected, limited SC distribution
FDA CLASS II RECALL: General Mills has issued a bulk Pillsbury Hard Roll Dough and Pillsbury Kaiser Roll Dough distributed to select Walmart in‑store bakeries across 19 states. The FDA reports the dough may contain foreign material (glass) linked to a supplier ingredient concern.
The recall covers frozen dough used only in Walmart bakery departments, not retail Pillsbury cans sold in grocery aisles.
FDA distribution records confirm the recalled dough was not shipped to any Walmart bakery locations in North Carolina. South Carolina is included.
Pillsbury Hard Roll Dough — Lot codes 11JUN6JL, 12JUN6JL
Pillsbury Kaiser Roll Dough — Lot code 12JUN6JL
Better if Used By: October 12–13, 2026
The FDA advises bakery operators to discontinue use, isolate affected dough, and follow disposal instructions provided through Walmart’s internal recall communication channels.
