NC 904 Reopens After Morning Rollover Crash in Dulah Community

Nakina Fire & Rescue responds to single‑vehicle rollover; State Highway Patrol leading investigation.

NAKINA, NC — NC 904 has reopened after a Wednesday morning rollover crash that briefly shut down a section of Swamp Fox Highway in the Dulah Community, according to Nakina Fire & Rescue.

The roadway was closed between Ramsey Ford Road and Dulah Road while emergency crews cleared the scene.

The road has been fully reopened ad of 9:25 a.m.

Fire officials said the crash involved a single vehicle that overturned, prompting a multi‑unit response. Apparatus and personnel on scene included Chief 10, EMS 10, EMS 29, Engine 29, and Squad 10. Crews urged motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes during the response.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation into the collision. No details regarding injuries or contributing factors have been released.
