RIEGELWOOD — Deputies recovered multiple stolen items — including firearms, electronics, and cash — after responding to a burglary on Christian Lane on May 13, according to a report from Det. Colten P. Weaver.

Victims EBONY SETERA BRIDGES, 43, and KENDRICK TREMAYNE HOWARD, 45, reported that several high‑value items were taken from the home, including:

  • Two iPhone 16 devices valued at $1,700
  • Three long guns
  • $300 in cash
  • One Rolex watch

The suspect is described only as a 38‑year‑old white male, according to the incident report. Deputies have not released a name, and no corresponding arrest appears in the county’s May 13–26 detention records.

Firearm thefts continue to rise statewide. The N.C. Department of Public Safety reports a 14% increase in stolen‑gun cases over the past three years, with many tied to residential break‑ins and vehicle entries.

The investigation remains active, and deputies are asking anyone with information to contact the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
