Nakina Fire & Rescue has announced its slate of officers for 2026, highlighting a mix of returning leaders and newly appointed personnel who will guide the department through the coming year.
The department’s leadership will be headed by Chief Victor Jacobs, with Kelton Batten and Brianna Blanks serving as assistant chiefs. Rocky McPherson has been named captain, while Adam Voyles and Antonio Lynch will serve as lieutenants.
Additional officer roles for 2026 include:

– Brian Giese, Safety Officer
– Jenna Byrd, Infection Control Officer
– Debbie Ward, Secretary
Department officials say they are entering the new year with a strong focus on expanding training opportunities and strengthening career development for both volunteer members and career staff.
