The free community event features live music, local youth performance groups, craft vendors, and activities for families.

The City of Myrtle Beach will host its annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 20, offering a day of culture, community, and live entertainment at historic Charlie’s Place.

The festival, which runs from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 1420 Carver Street, features a diverse entertainment lineup.

Live musical performances will be delivered by the “100 Grand Band” and the “Painted Man Band.” The event will also showcase local youth talent, including the Conway High Gold Smoove Drum Line, the Coastal High Dance Team, and the Myrtle Beach Middle Dance Team.

In addition to live performances, the celebration will host a variety of food and craft vendors, alongside a dedicated kids’ fun zone. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the outdoor festivities.

Organizers have established a severe weather contingency plan. In the event of poor weather, the celebration will relocate indoors to the Mary C. Canty Recreation Center, located at 971 Canal Street.
